As we confront the daily issues and challenges in our lives, let us not forget that there are far too many people in our communities who constantly struggle to put food on their tables. The Atlanta Community Food Bank, as part of its mission “to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community” helps provides them with food.
Since 2014, our firm has joined with other lawyers in the annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy to help keep the Atlanta Community Food Bank sufficiently stocked to meet increased demand during the summer months when children are not being served by the free and reduced meal programs at school. With the support of our clients, friends, and family members, each year we have been able to collect (in food and donations) the most total pounds and/or the most pounds per person in the small firm or sole proprietorship categories. In 2017, our firm collected (in food and donations) the equivalent of 7,605 pounds of food per person, the most per person statewide and was crowned the winner of the Attorney General’s Cup. #GaLLF
